2026 AIMA Masterclass Application Form

• Thank you for applying to the 27th AIMA Masterclass!


• The application deadline is Friday, May 1, 2026 at 23:59. Forms submitted after this date will not be accepted.


• We will contact you as soon as your application has been reviewed by the instructors. Participant selection is carried out directly by the instructors based on the information and documents provided in the form, and the management of Ayvalık Foundation for Culture and Arts (AKSV) has no involvement in these decisions. Please do not contact us to request special consideration.


• The non-refundable application fee for all applicants is 50 Euros (fifty) for non-Turkish nationals. This fee covers organization, classification, evaluation, and communication services during the application process and is non-refundable under any circumstances, including for applicants whose applications are rejected by the instructors.


• Applicants who are accepted must pay the course fee within 15 calendar days.


• The course fee per active participant for piano, cello, violin, and viola masterclasses is 700 Euros (seven hundred) for non-Turkish nationals. The course fee per active participant for the flute summer camp is 800 Euros (eight hundred). The course fee per passive participant is 200 Euros. These amounts do not include the application fee.


• Application and course fees must be paid to the following account of the Ayvalık Foundation for Culture and Arts Economic Enterprise at Yapı Kredi Bank Ayvalık Branch:

• Please do not pay the course fees before the student selection results are announced.


• Accommodation is included in the active participant course fees. In each specialization class, the first 6 (six) accepted applicants will stay at the AIMA Haluk Barutçuoğlu House, and the remaining participants will stay at an accommodation facility designated by AIMA. Scholarship students will be given priority to stay at the Haluk Barutçuoğlu House.


• Applicants who apply as active participants but are not selected as active by the instructors may, if they wish, attend the specialization class as passive participants and observe the lessons. The passive participation fee for the specialization class is 200 Euros.


• Participants who will perform in the final concert will be selected by the instructors, and being an active participant in no way guaratees a place at the final concert.


• Accommodation for passive participants will not be covered by AIMA.


• Due to the physical limitations of the AIMA Haluk Barutçuoğlu House in relation to the number of students attending the Flute Masterclass, this program will be held with enriched content under the name “Flute Camp” at the Sabancı University Creative Technologies Workshop campus in Küçükköy. Scholarship students and those attending with accommodation included will stay at the AIMA Haluk Barutçuoğlu House and Bonjour Pension. Students coming with their families or arranging independent accommodation are advised to stay in the Küçükköy or Sarımsaklı area.


• This year, the Flute Camp program has been expanded to include an olive oil tasting and soap-making workshop, Ayvalık history/culture tour, karaoke and movie nights, piccolo workshop, and a rehearsal concert in Küçükköy Square.


• AKSV Economic Enterprise reserves the right to cancel the events at any time. In case of cancellation due to force majeure, all payments made for the event, except the application fee, will be refunded.


• Individuals or legal entities who make application and course fee payments agree to share their Turkish ID Number or Tax Number with the AIMA Office so that an invoice can be issued in their name.


• AIMA does not accept responsibility for problems arising from incorrect or insufficient information entered in the application form. Please make sure you read and understand the questions correctly.


• By completing this form, applicants agree that their personal data will be processed, stored, and used by AKSV in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
