AIMA 1998 yılında başladığı enstrüman uzmanlık sınıflarında yıllar içerisinde 1.300'den fazla öğrenciyi dünya çapında tanınan hocalar ile buluşturarak genç müzisyenlerin kariyerlerinde önemli atılımlar yapmalarına vesile oldu.

Türkiye'deki diğer masterclass etkinliklerine örnek olan AIMA Masterclass'larında öğrencilerin hocaları ile AIMA'nın ayrıcalıklı mekanında yoğun çalışma ile geçirdikleri günler ve bitirme konserleri gençlerin sadece müzikal ve akademik değil, kişisel ve sosyal gelişimlerinde de çok önemli rol oynadı.

AIMA has brought together more than 1,300 students with world-renowned maestros since 1998 during the 117 Masterclasses that took place in Ayvalık.  The experience that the young musicians had during these masterclasses were instrumental in their future careers.

AIMA Masterclasses set an important example and benchmark for others that sprung up in later years throughout Turkey. The intense period that the students spend at AIMA living and working together with their teacher not only provides them with the tools for their academic and musical improvement but also their personal and social developments.
